Get your brushes ready! Xan Peters is teaching an oil painting intensive at the Morean Center for Clay. Familiarize yourself with oils and get started making! This class will cover basic skills and each student will walk away with their own oil painting. Day 1 will consist of creating an underpainting. When we return a week later for Day 2, we will learn about color and glazing. Materials are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own. All skill levels, but some drawing/painting experience is recommended. Both days will include an hour break for lunch.

Xan has taught at Tufts University, University of Tampa, Saint Petersburg College, and the John C. Campbell Folk School.
