Painting Explorations in Oil and Acrylics

Offered for:
Winter Session 1 (Jan 8, 15, 22, 29, Feb 5 & 12) – 6 classes (with 3 class option)
Winter Session 2 (Feb 26, March 5, 12, 19, 26 & April 2) – 6 classes (with 3 class option)
Spring Session (April 16, 23, 30, May 7, 14 & 21) – 6 classes (with 3 class option)

This is an ongoing, yearlong course, which students can take for a 3 or 6 week session and try painting for the first time, or continue on a longtime personal exploration.

You can work in oils and/or acrylics. Students work on their own projects, and are encouraged to explore personal choices in subject matter and styles. You can bring your own ideas or source material is available.

There are lots of individual instructor input, and a good exchange of ideas from all members of the class.

Each 6 week session will explore in depth a specific art related concept. Techniques, information specific to oils or acrylics will be discussed or demonstrated depending on the needs of the class as a whole, but more importantly, each individual student.
