Looking for a relaxing new hobby that can grow with you? Feeling festive for fall and want an activity for you and your friends? Are you thinking about gifting your loved ones handmade art this year and want time to practice? This class is for you!
With needle felting, the possibilities are endless. This class gives students the essential tools to start making their own felted works of art. Participants can expect a guided project, one-on-one assistance, expert instruction, and a cute, finished project to take home.
Provided class supplies will include a kit that can be used for future projects and enough wool to create a cute felted pumpkin to carry home with you.
Amy Gil has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design. She currently works as the Director of Interior Design for RRW Architects in Tampa, Fl. She has been an Adjunct Instructor of Interior Design while working full time in her field. She has designed a large variety of spaces including high end residential homes, International hotels, local and national restaurants, a ski lodge in Vermont, and a Rolls Royce, Aston Martin and Bentley car dealership. Growing up in N.Y. & St. Croix USVI, Amy has always been involved in the arts. She relates as a textile artist and enjoys sewing, painting, needle felting in 2D and 3D and embroidering.
