Artist Bio:

Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, Quinn Hanna is a versatile ceramic artist who has passions for both the functionality of traditional pottery and the complex beauty of sculpture. A daughter of two special education teachers, Quinn’s practice emphasizes making ceramics accessible and fun for all while prioritizing community and collaboration. Through the combination of wheel-thrown and hand-built elements, Quinn’s work explores themes of childhood, whimsy, and play through stylized figures accompanied by a bright color pallete and sentimental motifs.

Quinn received her BFA in ceramics from Ohio University in 2025. Upon completing her residency at the Morean Center for Clay, Quinn aspires to get her Masters in Fine Arts with the ultimate goal of teaching ceramics full-time.Â
