This class will cover the fundamentals of ceramic slip-casting. No prior clay experience is needed, so beginners are welcome! We will also cover the basics of working with plaster and creating simple plaster molds.Â
If students are interested in learning about more complex mold-making design, they are encouraged to take my two-day mold-making workshop on November 1st and 2nd! Students are also welcome to bring additional commercial molds to work with, which can be found online and through regional ceramic supply stores.Â
