Abby Golden: The Florida Memories Project

Current St. Petersburg residents are invited to contribute to a community-driven arts project at the Morean Arts Center! Artist Abby Golden is seeking personal stories and memories for her Florida Memories Project, an interactive art exhibition that will be on view at the Morean during the summer of 2027.
During this quick-fire round of interviews, Abby will document locals’ answer to the question: What has changed about Central Avenue? From these interviews she will stitch together a visual narrative through video and illustration.
The goal of this project is to make St. Pete locals feel seen and heard. Check out Abby’s ongoing work on Substack Florida Memories Project and IG @ fl_memoriesproject
The Florida Memories exhibition is part of the Morean’s 110th anniversary exhibition season.
