CHECKERED celebrates the checkerboard pattern in all its forms. Local artists were invited to submit one work of art in any medium in which the checkerboard pattern is prominently featured. 

One of the highlights of the exhibition is a chess board created through The Chess Board Project, led by artist Jackie Kaufman in partnership with The St. Petersburg Chess Club with funding by Creative Pinellas.
