Join us at the Morean Center for Clay as Ethan Fielder exhibits his final solo exhibition as an artist in residence. The work in Putting Out Fire lives at an intersection between surrealism and the sublime through narrative sculpture. In his concentrated studio practice he produces colorful sculptures made from memories collected during time spent in both natural and manufactured landscapes. These objects exist as portals into worlds where familiar objects hold space for dreaming and exploration.
