“My first experience with the Arts Center was as a child taking a Saturday morning painting class. Fast forward to 1996 when I moved back to St. Petersburg and became a member and volunteer. “In 1997 Mary Ann Marger selected a photograph of mine for the All Florida Juried Show .When I delivered the piece for the show, I left my resume for consideration knowing there were big expansion plans, and within 48 hours I had interviewed with Evelyn Craft and accepted the job as Education Coordinator. “With the exception of 5 years up north in Massachusetts running my own photography school, I have been dedicated to the mission of the Morean Arts Center. Working as Gallery & Retail Director, Outreach, Events and Communications Assistant and now as Director of Photography I have been immersed in almost every aspect of our exceptional programs.”
