“My first show was in 1981, at the old Arts Center, a two-man exhibit that I shared with Jerry Meatyard. That was my first indoor show in Florida, only a month or two before my first outdoor show, Mainsail, where I won Best of Show. Talk about feeling welcome! I have always appreciated the enthusiasm of the center and the way it generously contributes as a supporting force and spirit for St. Petersburg’s artists.”
