“In the 1980s, the Arts Center provided early encouragement, professional experience and a supportive arts community during the first stages of my career. Over the years, even after moving to Brooklyn, my relationship with the Arts Center has continued and I am grateful for the many opportunities it has provided, allowing me to maintain my ties to the Tampa Bay area. “In 1982, 1983 and 1986 I participated in benefit exhibitions at the Arts Center. Also in 1986, my paintings were included in a three-person exhibition: A Scavenger’s Addiction. In 1992, I participated in Present-Future Tense, an exhibition where five artists invited an emerging artist to participate. In 2001, I had my first solo exhibition: Full Circle at the Arts Center. Upcoming, in the fall of 2017, I am scheduled for a second solo exhibition. I have also conducted Master Artist Workshops. “I am extremely appreciative of the rich history I have had with the Morean Arts Center.”
