“I discovered the Arts Center when I resided in St. Petersburg in the 1980s, when I enrolled as a student in a painting class in the fall of 1980 or 1981. Over the years I have returned to the Arts Center on many occasions, noting its growth and maturation into the center we know today. The current space has truly become a fully realized educational center for the visual arts, while also providing a high profile venue for exhibitions in downtown St. Petersburg.”
