Nancy Brown was a long time staff member of the Arts Center, serving as the bookkeeper and receptionist in the 1970s and 80s. This painting was featured in the Center’s 1977 juried Tampa Bay exhibition. A student of John Stanley, she once stated that her rigid grill line paintings were a result of her serious math background.
