Opening Reception: November 12 from 5-8pm
One Day Tampa Bay is a 24-hour community photography project to document the lives and light of St. Pete, Tampa, Clearwater and all the towns in between. This annual event, the brainchild of photographer Jamie Jackson and coordinated by Beth Reynolds in partnership with the Morean, creates a dynamic and reflective documentation of our cities and its neighborhoods.
On September 17, 2022, over 50 photographers fanned out across the region to document a day in the life of our community. These photographers submitted nearly 500 photos which were then culled by our curatorial team to fit into the space. The works in the show were selected blind, meaning the jury did not know whose work they were selecting; each photograph was chosen solely on the basis of its artistic merit.
The resulting exhibition is a snapshot of life in the Tampa Bay region–this beautiful place in which we live, work, and play. See if you can recognize some of your favorite spots!
