A LEGACY OF GIVING
The generosity of our donors allows the Morean to reach more people and bring more art to all. The Morean is grateful to Board Member and Philanthropist Karen Riffe for generously seeding the endowment, and for committing to match future gifts to the Education Fund up to $100,000.
Contributions to the endowment are a measurable way of providing lasting, meaningful, and impactful tax-deductible support for the Morean Arts Center. Donations are accepted throughout the year and endowment gifts to the Education Fund will be matched by the Riffe family up to $100,000. Gifts must be received by June 30, 2023 to be eligible for the matching challenge.
Thank you for ensuring that the Morean can continue its critical work well into the future.
THE RIFFE FAMILY EDUCATION ENDOWMENT FUND IN MEMORY OF DANNY RIFFE:
The Riffe Family Education Endowment Fund was established in 2022 by the Riffe Family in Memory of Danny Riffe. Morean Board Member and Philanthropist, Karen Riffe would like to ensure that future generations continue to have access to the quality art education that the Morean Arts Center offers in our St. Petersburg community:
“Danny and I grew up in St. Petersburg and loved watching it evolve into this dynamic, beautiful and artistic city. The Morean has been an important part of our lives over the years; my daughter having attended summer camps for several years as a child, and myself still learning to paint as an adult. With a strong belief in the power of creativity, my daughter and I are grateful to be able to provide this legacy to benefit the children and aspiring artists in our area through the amazing programs provided at the Morean.”
